Hi, I’m Courtney, a wife and mum to three little darlings. We have called the Pilbara home for almost five years now, and it’s where we’re raising our family and making the most of everything the North has to offer.

Before becoming a mum, I completed a business degree and spent my time working, but I had a strong urge to travel and explore Australia. So that’s exactly what we did… Until COVID changed our plans and led us here. Now, between family life and adventure, we take every chance we can to explore this beautiful part of the world.

My love for photography started young. When I was 13, my parents surprised me with my first DSLR camera, and a camera has rarely left my side since. From golden sunsets and rugged landscapes to loved-up couples and the beautiful chaos of family life, I truly love capturing it all. I’ll do just about anything for a great photo!

In 2022, I decided to turn my hobby into something more, and Captured by Court came to life. Slowly, and in between the busy (and often chaotic) life of raising three young kids in a remote area, that dream is becoming a reality.

It’s funny- I’ve never really considered myself a creative person, but photography is the exception. It’s my thing, my happy place. When I’m behind the camera or editing a gallery, I can completely switch off and just enjoy the moment.
